Is That A Diaper Bag?

March 21, 2013

Having a baby means a really BIG changes in our lives. To me, it effects my routine and even my handbags. I love my handbags so much! But now I find it it's annoyingly uneasy to carry a handbag and a baby bag at the same time. And the baby bag with cute blue, pink and so many cheerful colours with a typical cute designs, sometimes doesn't go with what I am wearing.

(sigh)

But my solution is solved, when I finally got my Storksak safely arrived at my doorstep, it's like a dream come true, problemo solved! Now I only need to carry one bag and one bag alone. The best parts are, It will still like carrying my handbag, and baby bag in one. And nobody won't know it actually a baby bag until you tell them! Muahaahahahah!! I'm sorry but I wanna look good while outing with my kids. Carrying one bag and only one stylish bag that carries all the thing I need and also what the kids need.

What is it I am talking about? Well.. it's THIS!

Ladies, I present to you..

The Storksak!

Well, does it look good or does it look good? Believe it or not it's not just a handbag. It is also a diaper bag. Comes with many range and design, Storksak is a total solution to mommies who wants to look good while carrying a diaper bag. They even have a design for daddy. Mine is Elizabeth Leather, in Grey Dove. The merchandise is from London and being brought in here by certain online boutique in Malaysia. What makes me crave more about this is, even Angelina Jolie wore it so is Brad Pitt!

The bag has lots of pockets inside an outside so you can put all the things needed in a different compartments and getting it easily. The elegant design concealed the truth and what people see is a very nice handbag.

Do you see the pockets and compartments? I am loving this so much! You can so many things in here. My purse, diapers, spare clothes, wet tissues, wipe cloth etc..

It has a pocket at both sides of the handbag, which I slip in my mobile phone, car keys and other things that I need to get in a hurry at the easiest place I can reach in time.

This bag came with a dust bag (a must), a diaper changing mat and a bottle warmer bag. I bought mine at BEBE TOTZ, they also can be reach at their Facebook and I recommend you to browse their album. There are so many things you can find there.

So, Zara.. the bag is pack. Let's go out with your sisters!

p.s. Fadzil is not around to take photo of me posing with this bag.

Pretty, Polished Nail

October 31, 2012

It was last week a day before Eid Ul Adha. I took an early leave because my boss is on leave too. So Why not, relax at home (yeah, right!? what's with the cleaning and organizing.), spending some quality time with Fatini, wake up at 6 not 5am.. The thing is Fadzil still went to work that morning, and I prefer it that way.

I finished cleaning up the house, gave a final touch to the kids `baju kurung` that I sew the night before, take a shower and went to Alamanda for my appointment.

What appointment?

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I loved getting my nails done. Especially pedicure for my foot. With my belly getting bigger, it's really hard to get your toes and feet done. Manicure for my hands? Well, I just loved seeing it neatly trimmed and buffed. But my focus is mostly pedicure. Since I got pregnant, my feet, and heels are getting really dry that they started to cracked. I hate it. What's with all the dry skin that sticks to my skirt when they touch each other. I don't dare to rub my feet to Fadzil's, afraid that he might say something about it. I know, because I don't like it if he did the same thing to me.

what you will see before you stepped in.

 bigger Nail Parlour

So where did I go for to solve my problems? it's The Nail Parlour. Ever since it was opened, I am a regular customer. They just re-opened with a bigger place and more station to serve their customers.

I took Fatini along as I promised her before. After her exams, she and I can go out on a mommy and daughter day out. She chose to tag along to The Nail Parlour to get her nail done too.

The new place is huge and prettier. I loved the colour and lighting they used inside the shop. The pleasant feeling I usually had as soon as i entered that place making me smiled as soon as  I stepped in.

Most of the technician (that's what they called the girls that worked on your nail), are from Philippines. So, in some way I felt the familiar feelings that I had when we're staying in Dubai. When they saw us they will greet us and ask what can they do for you. I usually made an appointment before I go there to avoid the frustration of not able to get things done on the spot. People who knew me for so long they knew I always prepared earlier. Maybe it's the nature of a`secretary` or `personal assistant`.

Once you're there, you have to decide what YOU want to do. A regular manicure? Pedicure for your feet? Will you need a buffing for your nail? Besides that, they even have a menu for manicure, pedicure, the manly man service and other services in store. They carry spa products like Zen Spa, nail polish from Jessica besides their own line by their own name.

range of product available.

For my rough feet (that's embarrassing!) I chose a silken smoothing pedicure plus buffing. And Spa manicure for my hands. Mini regulars for Fatini.

We started out with pedicure. Ah.. what a feeling! To have someone attend to you, pampered you. To really relax!

they sanitized all station, and this add more comfort to us knowing you're getting a clean service.

a bigger pedicure station.

I loved the pink seat with those big mirror.

sink for you to sink-in your feet in a fragrant warm water.

The Nail Parlour were featured in Berita Harian.

a nice wallpaper isn't it?

 those familiar font and sign.

It took me 2 hours to finished the whole thing. But it was a great experience, now that my `paws and claws` are well trimmed and shiny. I recommend you guys to come and enjoy the experience in The Nail Parlour. Besides Alamanda they too have other branches in Mid Valley, KLCC, Bukit Bintang and others which you can find in the web page.

Making Up My Mind

September 21, 2012

Now that, I am 6 months pregnant, I might be posting a lot of things regarding my pregnancy.

Please don't get annoyed by this okay?

After 2 childbirths and confinements, I am thinking about changing the jamu that I am about to use and consume. Previously I used Nona Roguy Herbanika Bersalin during my confinement. I loved what it does to my body during the confinement and I felt really great about it. It even helps produce more milk for my newborn and I don't have the constipation problem.

But after I read the post by my friend Marina Amir in her blog Chenta Sa-Juta Chupettes, about Tanamera Post Natal Set, I was thinking about trying Tanamera Sets. It's a spa-like version of jamu. Except most of the items are not for consumption, except for the herbal tea. Compared to Nona Roguy, they minus the Phytonatal capsule, which I loved so much, because it helps to strengthen the body and reduce weight all along during the confinement. And the Tanamera set include the Postpartum abdominal wrap (bengkung) and pilis. Which both of this thing are not included in the Nona Roguy Sets.

Tanamera Post Natal set. Neat packaging isn't it?
(credit to Tanamera for the picture)

What do they have in the Tanamera Post Natal (offical page)?

1. Feminine Herbal Wash : A mixture of aromatic herbs, rich in essential oil used for healing stitches and keeping the genital area clean, deodorized and cool. The sooner you start using this product the better, even if you have had a cesarean birth.mixture of aromatic herbs, rich in essential oil used for healing stitches and keeping the genital area clean, deodorized and cool. The sooner you start using this product the better, even if you have had a cesarean birth.
2. Herbal Bath :A traditional blend of highly aromatic herbs that refreshes, re-energizes, and deodorizes the body as well as helps soothe tired muscles and relieves minor skin problems.
3. Herbal Tea : A warming tea that helps a mother with recovery from childbirth by stimulating internal circulation and expulsion of blood clots.
4. Lavender Floral Water : Gentle and soothing, an overall pleasant traditional scent for unwinding and reducing stress. Lavender is an herb with a long history of use in medical conditions. It may used as an after bath splash or throughout the day when feeling tired to refresh yourself.
5.  Herbal Massage Oil : An all natural oil that is infused with tropical herbs that re-starts a mother's internal circulation.
6. Cold Press Virgin Coconut Oil : A key benefit of VCO is that it's high in antioxidants which protect your skin from free radical damage. It can be used prenatally for stretch mark prevention as well as during postnatal to reduce the existence of stretch marks, apply 2x per day. For best results apply after bathing and massage into wet skin.
7.  Brown Formulation Body Soap : A combination of herbs and grains produce a grainy surface that gently removes dead skin . Herbs such as turmeric, wild ginger and cinnamon are known to improve one's overall skin condition. The exotic, earthy scent of patchouli oil is added for an aromatherapy effect.
 8. Boreh Body Scrub : A combination of herbs with warming properties whose main function is to have a warming effect on the skin and muscles to energize and rejuvenate a tired mother's body.
 9. Calming Herbal Paste (Pilis)A traditionally blended paste that refreshes tired eyes and mind due to lack of sleep or stress. It is applied on the forehead for at least 1 hour or as long as the new mother liked it.
10.  Firming herbal Blend Paste : A traditional paste made of a blend of herbs used to help strengthen and firm stomach muscles from the inside out. Use with the postpartum abdominal wrap for more effective results.
11. Postpartum Abdominal Wrap / Binder (bengkung) : The material is made of unbleached cotton which is soft yet durable for hours of comfort. The wrap is easy to put on and most comfortable when worn under loose clothes. A postpartum wrap is an important recovery devise used in many cultures for a faster recovery from child birth.
Things listed above are what they have in the Post Natal Set. Awesome right? The set cost about RM360 including delivery in Peninsular Malaysia. But I was thinking about going to the boutique instead. The nearest in my place, is in KLIA. I'll ask my dear husband to accompany me next week. Just want to see the whole range of product available in Tanamera.

For Nona Roguy, it cost about RM290 after discount for members only. But without the bengkung and pilis. After all the survey and reading, I might go with Tanamera, but I've been with Nona Roguy my whole life, especially the herbal oil. I haven't discuss anything with my husband but I'll let him know soon.

So ladies, do you think I should go with Tanamera?

Me, Myself and Shoes

October 13, 2011

After 4 years of being a SAHM (Stay At Home Mom), one thing I missed so much is high heels shoes. Don't get me wrong, I had a few high heels, wedges in my keep. Not to forget a some 'flats' for my comfort when shopping.

I don't know what when wrong now, but I just realized I CANNOT wear a fully covered shoes anymore. Covered shoes or high heels looks good on my feet BUT, it hurts so much! It feels okay at first, but after a few hours of wearing it, it started to hurt on certain specific point. especially at the back of my foot. Then, at the end side of my foot next to my toes. To those who already experienced this, I think you would definitely understands.

But please help me, I just can't resist all those yummy, sexy looking high heels that I saw at the windows of my favourite shoe stores. When it came to this, I end up wearing wedges, or open toe high heels. Which is not the specific shoes that you should wear in the government offices.

I walked a lot in the office. I walked with high heels before and it never gives me any problem. I loved looking good in the office wearing a matching shoes to my dress. And the confident they gave me when I am walking. I am not that tall, neither I am short, but with my heights, high heels or wedges gives me the credit to make me look taller and slimmer. So, in this case I really do need a comfortable heels.

Another problem that occurs and worried me is my spending on shoes. I spend my time and money on so many shoes I bought, but it end up in my stores or in the car boot. This is what happened when you wear that shoes for a 2 hours and realized it hurts like hell! I tried putting those see-through gel thingy, in my shoes so that it helps reducing or comforting the hurt points on my feet, and guess what? It doesn't work! False advertisement. Those thing are supposed to stick and the shoes and protect that points, but it sticks on my foot and I still end up with reddish and swollen feet.

For now, I've been wearing my favourite wedges and still looking for the right and comfortable shoes to replace this seasoned and peeled-heel wedges. If anybody have any suggestion to me, please let me know okay? So help me in my mission, and wish me luck!!

COACH vs VANISH

March 7, 2011

I am fed up with my stained Satin Jazzy Hobo COACH!

Because it;s COACH and Satin, I am reluctant to give it a try on washing my self. As I referred to my friend Cat Yong from Bag Hauz, it has to be sent to the boutique for spa or cleaning. Or DIY at home by using a delicate wash. But using a delicate wash doesn't remove not even an inch of the stain. It looks like a 'beg buruk' already. Because it's beige satin and you know how soft colour like that can easily get stained if you're not careful (like me).

this is how mine looked like. and I'm adding more!

But I had it!

I have to do it, because I couldn't afford to go to COACH boutique in KL just to drop it to get it clean, and when the times come to pick it up, I don't know when am I going to pick up the bag? I hate driving in KL, I won't even bother going into KL if I have to do it alone.

And then I knew what I have to do. I saw a bottle of Vanish liquid ( the pink bottle sort of like bleach like thingy but oxygen based, and safe for colour). I got an idea. I pour it in a pail with a scoop of powder detergent. I soak in the water just enough for my bag, and there you go Jazzy Hobo! Have a dip!

After 30 minutes, I took it out, using a soft bristle toothbrush (old toothbrush), I brush the bag gently but making it all over the bag. I rinse it gently but thoroughly, and let it air dry until the water from the bag is drained out and the bag is damp.

The first thing in the morning when I saw the first ray of morning light, I took the bag out and let it dry under the morning sun, as the it's harmless for us. So I assumed, it's ok for the bag as it won't damaged the texture and colour.

After one hour, I took it in and finally the moment of truth. I looked at the bag and looked all brand new all over again! It's clean, shinier and smells good too! Well there you go, I done it again! it works and the bag is safe.I saved my time and most improtantly MONEY! :))

Cheers!

To Cook and Be Creative

May 21, 2010

We're attending a BBQ party this evening, hosted by Mr. Fadzil's friends as a farewell party to some of them that will be leaving Dubai soon. I think and I think hard. What should I bring to this party? Yeah, you can't come to a party empty-handed, right? (if I am a host, I didn't mind, because I loved to cook and have people coming and eat)

fresh strawberries always end up in my tummy

As summer is approaching, I have to think of something cold to serve. Not frying or baking, will make you feel really hot just by hanging over the stove. Huh! Well this is really challenging. I googled, and got inspired by many recipes for summer desserts, which included berries. Any berries. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys I'm bringing desserts and cold salad. And the party is hosted by a group of budak bujang so, faham-faham la kan? Just to make sure I bring something decent that will complete the barbeque party.
So, to actually follow the theme, BBQ/barbeque, I created a cold salad inspired by some of my favourite food. A mix of chicken, lychee, pineapple, bell peppers and celery. And guess the dressing! BBQ SAUCE and mayonnaise! It is named Chicken BBQ Salad. This will complete the barbeque platters.
To sweetened the taste at the end of the meal, I inspired myself with the summer desserts theme. My favourite, STRAWBERRY! To put some Malays taste in it, and mixed it all together, I made a special puding jagung the recipes are modified with my own special mix. And I made a special cream strawberry sauce to complete the pudding. I add some tangy taste in the sauce that taste heavenly with the cream and hint of vanilla altogether.
It's been quite sometimes since I last inspired myself like this. I surprised myself, over how far I can go in creating recipes of my own. Because to me, being a cook not just about finding recipes and cook. But how your taste buds play with all the taste, and when you closed your eyes, you get the pictures and ideas and how to create a new taste that even you, yourself will get surprised by it.
Some people have a creative side on writing, sewing, arts and crafts. But this is me. This is how I expressed myself.

So, how do you get creative?

Can't You Ask For Permission?

January 21, 2010

I was cooking when I heard my husband high tone voice from our garage. "Hoi!!" He, never, ever raise his voice that way unless there is something really got on his nerve. Fatini ran inside. She was supposed to wait outside for her school bus to come with my husband. I put on my scarf and ran to the garage to see what happened. "What's wrong?" I asked him. He didn't answer me but kept talking to somebody in a very angry voice. I saw a white truck in front of our house, with a driver inside, and the engine is running. And then, I saw a guy in a white and brown uniform running towards the truck holding a cup. And they left in a hurry.

I heard my husband said again, " I can report you to the police! Why can't you ask for permission?" I went inside and continue my cooking.

Once my husband when inside, I asked him what's wrong. So, he told everything. When he opened the door to go outside, he saw this guy (maybe Indian or Pakistani) standing in our garage taking water from our tap just next to the car in the garage. He was surprised when he saw my husband, and when my husband shout at him, he hurriedly ran away and say, "Sorry, sorry, karkash, karkash (i guess that's what they called garbage)." My husband were so angry and said, "If you want to take karkash, just take the karkash! Not stealing water! If you really want a cup of water, ask for permission. Not just come in, intruding our place and steal!" And then again, there's no garbage to be taken at all at our place.

All morning we talked about that incident and thought that maybe that's the reason why our water bills are so high! As if the people crossing at our front yard from the main road are not enough as a problem. Now we have a new problem.

I guess this people, workers like them simply intruding, come early in the morning to take water or whatever they want. It's not like we are monsters that we won't give them a cup of water, from the garden tap or something. But they are stealing! They didn't even knock the door and asked for permission!

I guess that explains why some our stuff are missing from the garage. You see, you cannot bagi muka sangat to them. Once you start, they will assumed your house is their house too! Naik lemak pulak! I am not discriminating or anything but, that is what we have to do! I didn't mind being a courtesy customer when they are attending us in the shop or anyplace. I still talk nicely to them and won't be such a bossy. But once they asking from us for extra tips, and else, and start naik kepala, of course you gotta do something about it.

Once, when we just moved here in Springs. I was alone at home with my kids. I notice the garden are in terrible shape. Because of this, every hour there's a few gardeners came and asked if we need their expensive but not-that-nice job of transforming the garden. You can hire them to do the maintenance, but not landscaping the garden. I declined them, because I don't think it's worth the money. Me and Mr.Fadzil can manage ourselves. There is this one gardener that came everyday and calling my husband (I don't know why my husband gave his phone number) forcing us to hire him. And one day, he came and asked me to hire him, and when I said no, he asked for water and everything, whether or not he can stay and rest there for a while, and so on. I said, "No! Go away, or I called the police!" Ewah, ewah, die ingat ni rumah tumpangan??!!

I wrote this so that all my friends out there, just to be cautious with this guys. Baik tu berpada-pada, jangan sampai mereka ni naik kepala pulak. I don't want you guys to think of me as a horrible person, I just want to protect our family and our home and of course my self.

p.s. Bil air tinggi gile tu yang tak larat tu!!!! Barang hilang kena curik!! Sape larat?

Educating Your Child and Staying in Foreign Country

January 14, 2010

This is more like me, writing what's been nesting in my mind for a month now.

The thought of my baby girl going to a foreign school? How will she cope? How do I teach her at home? What should I teach her? How can I educate her so that she will turn out just fine as a Malay and Muslim? Have you ever thought about that?

We've stayed here for almost 4 years. Tini, my eldest one, started her nursery school at the age of 3. As she was born in January, so it's not a problem for her to go to school on time, according to her age. I started wondering about how school when she was 2 and there is this one Mat Salleh asked her, "It's morning, why aren't you at school?" Tini just smile and said, "I stayed home to help Ummi." I just smiled and explained that we just moved here and don't really know how it works around here.

Now, that Tini is in school and the school allows the girls to wear tudung and covered uniforms. So when she's older and MUST TUTUP AURAT, it won't a problem then. Well, that's 2 worries down. Those with sons, will have no worries about this.

My parents came last month and it hit me when they asked me, "Macam mana didikan agama kat sini? Pendidikan Islam? My parents have all the confident in me to teach the right path, mengaji, sembahyang. But what about the Fekah? Fardhu Ain, and all those stuff? I thought about this for weeks.  It's like a wake up call to me. They gave me one more worries. My parents are right, as our kids are attending the International Schools, what about the

And it hit me again when my parents decided that, "Kalau tak boleh nak adakan semua didikan tu, Tini kena balik sekolah kat Malaysia bila dia patut masuk darjah 1. Kalau tak nanti nak jadi apa? Kat Malaysia dah tentu ada syllabus, Rukun Islam, Rukun Iman. Kalau tak, korang berdua kena buat sesuatu lah untuk ajar Tini tu bias elok dah besar nanti. Jangan main-main, dia tu keturunan ibu dengan bapak jugak, kalau tak betul didikan, kat akhirat besok, kami kena jawab jugak nanti."

I told Mr.Fadzil about that and he agreed. "We have to do something then." he said. So I made a list, think hard how am I supposed to educate her on that. I don't want to be separated from my babies. I'll cry, I'll go crazy!

I am not worried about teaching her mengaji or praying, as she already knew the basics of Alif, Ba, Ta and so on.. Just the other things that bothers me. So..

My plans are :
Call my mom, asked her to get me text books for Pendidikan Islam Sekolah Rendah. So that I can teach Tini accordingly. It's been a long time, I don't know where to starts. So I guess the text books might help me.
Get my self more books on all the subjects matter, and read it again before I start educating her. So that I can answer each questions that she throws me.
More and more pendidikan tidak langsung on basics things as Muslim, example : Right and Wrong, can and cannot, all that sort of stuff that we came across on daily basis.

I guess that should do it as a start.

Let's not forget teaching Bahasa Melayu, reading and speaking. I have no problems with the speaking, as my daughter speaks 2 languages now. And I am so proud of her. I always pray, A LOT! That my daughter won't turn out to be like most kids I came across, whose the mothers are so proud that the kids speaks English all the time, and CANNOT speaks Malay AT ALL!! They even dressed up more like the Mat Salleh rather than Malays. Nau'zubillah!

When you're staying in foreign country like Dubai, it's not a problem at all to make sure your kids speaks and reads English. As there are many expats like us and kids easily catch up all this. In school, they were taught about Phonics, which is new to me since I moved here, and then they can go far from that. We just observe them at home and help them when in any way.

Back to the Malays issues.

I bought a book  from Ameen Bookstore that provides range of books for reading and learning. So this how I teaches Tini to read in Malay. Even though I taught her to read and spells in traditional way of reading in Malay before, it seems the technics provided in this book works out better! It used the same concept as English Phonics but in Malay.

So as Muslim Malay Parents that stay in the foreign country this is my list for my precious:
1. Educate my babies at home, in anyway I can.

2. Teach them to speaks and reads in Malay (because that is our culture and root)
3. Teach them about Islam, includes Fardhu Ain, mengaji, etc. (because I want to be proud of my babies not just in all other fields of education, but also an excellent Muslims; to complete the package)
4. Trained them in manners as there are so many influences from other cultures that may affected the child manners.

I may sound very traditional, that is because I am very traditional in this matter. I just want what's best for my kids in this 'colder' world. If it's not me who else will help them so that they can help themselves in the future?

Ade junior aku bertanye...

"Macam mana berpantang kat oversea?"

Nih jawapan aku.

Memandang kan tak ade family yg boleh dtg ke sini untuk jaga aku, suami ku yang tercinta la yang jaga aku for more than 10 days. Since aku pregnant, dia mmg insist on aku deliver kat sini dgn dia. Dia kate, "Takpe, abang boleh jaga." terharunya aku sebagai isteri, bila dengar dia sanggup jaga aku. Kata suami aku, dah ade pengalaman ngan anak sulung. Plus, sebb aku lg brutal dr dia kot?

Anyway, rutin aku berpantang kat sini lepas bersalin mcm kat bawah ni:

Pagi :

Mandikan baby. (Tini laki aku mandikan sementara dia ade kat umah)

Tungku/makan ubat/jamu

Mandi/urut/bengkung

Tghhri:

Lunch

Rehat/susukan baby

Petang:

Minum petang

mandikan baby

tungku/bengkung

Malam:

makan malam awal

light supper (biasanya susu la)

rehat/tido

Macam servis urut lepas bersalin, alhamdulillah aku jumpa ade sorang indonesian lady yang mmg buat servis urut lepas bersalin, besides other beauty servis. And the best part, dia dtg umah. Senang sangat!!

Other than that, jamu-jamu dan ubat-ubatan tradisional dan kesihatan untuk dalam pantang aku mmg dah order siap2 dari Malaysia.

Selebihnya, suami ku lah yang buat, masak, basuh baju, vacum umah, kemas umah, uruskan Tini, shopping groceries, ect...

Macam tu lah gayanya berpantang di luar negara. Aku berbengkung berstokin semua mcm biasa lah kan..

Hari ni dah more than 3 weeks aku berpantang.. ishh.. tension tul la! Bukan ape, lauk pun ulang2 yang tu. Aku dh kemaruk nak masuk dapur masak macam2, like before confinement kan? Nak kuar umah pun tak leh... Member2 aku kata alah kuar jer.. jalan-jalan umah diorg... hahaha... tgk lah.. klu dekat nk hbs pantang tu tahan lg.. eventhough actually aku rasa sgt sihat kali ni. But still aku jaga. oklah.. chow!

Dah raSe sakiT dah..

March 15, 2009

Since last night, aku dh rase mcm serba tak kena. Rasa macam menstrual cramping pun ade. Kul 3 pagi gitu aku rase mcm basah jer... aku ingat kaki aku peluh2. Macam selalu. Pagi td nk solat aku bangun dh ade spotting @ 'bloody show'. Tapi bukan bleeding. Just spots. Laki aku dah risau dah. Dia nak bawak aku g hospital. Tapi aku tak rase sakit ya amat ke ape ke.. just rase mild cramping jer. Pg tu lepas dia pegi keje, aku nak mandi, aku check dah tak ada dah spotting. So aku rase tak yah la pegi hospital dulu. Malas, nanti kena tahan hospital lama sgt. Sebab baby pun still ok gerak2 lagi. But aku still risau jugak..
Ni aku baru balik amik Tini and lunch ngan hubby aku. Aku tgk ade lagi sikit2 spotting, tak banyak. Tak sedap hati jugak. Aku rase macam nak ajak laki aku g hospital je malam ni. Ke esok pagi.
Makcik aku yang kat Johor tu dah bersalin pg tadi kul 8.47 pg. Baby girl 3.7kg. Semangat. Anak aku rasenye tak sampai 3 kg pun. Comel jugak macam Tini.
Malam tadi sempat lagi aku buat kuih lopes, sebab teringin sangat. Mak aku cakap, biasa la dah nak beranak macam2 la teringin.
Sedang aku menuli sblog sambil print buku manual untuk laki aku, aku rase sakit macam datang dan pergi. Tapi tak lah sakit giler. Aku takut false alarm je. But anyway, let's wait. Ptg ni lepas ofis laki aku balik aku nak ajak g hospital.

keNapa yaHudi biJak? bacalah..

March 13, 2009

Based on true story...

Mengapa Yahudi Bijak?

PENDAHULUAN

Cuma US$ .70cts !!! dan hasilnya? Dengan penduduknya berjumlah jutaan orang berapa banyak kah universiti terdapat disana? Hasil apakah yg dapat dibanggakan? Teknologi? Jauh sekali.

Pagi ni aku ade appointment kat Al Rafa. Appointment kul 10 pagi so aku kena keluar at least 9. Tau la jalan nk ke Bur Dubai, unpredictable. Aku sampai lewat 5 minit. Itu aku ok lagi, dah la parking jauh lak tu, aku ok lagi.. xpe.. aku set dalam kepala, xpe exercise. Aku jalan. Dah termengah-mengah tu, aku sampai-sampai aku cakap la mamat receptionist tu aku, " I have a 10 o'clock appointment with Dr.Saleena." Ok dia check jap. Aku tunggu la sambil berdiri. Sabar lagi, aku maniskan muka aku. Sekali penat aku maniskan muka, dia bole cakap appointment aku tak ade ngan Dr.Saleena hari ni. Hampeh! Habis tu? "But you have a 10 o'clock appointment with Dr. Mini Ravi." Ape hal lak nama aku masuk kat Mini Ravi plak?? Aku cakap la last week aku buat appointment, terang-terang aku cakap ngan budak yang set appointment aku tu, Dr. Saleena. Ape ingat aku suka-suka ke drive 40 minit dari rumah datang hospital ni untuk dengar dia bagitau aku tak aada set appointment. Nak salahkan aku le tu. Leking tu memang leking jugak, aku istighfar panjang-panjang. "So, how it's gonna be now?" aku tanya mamat tu. " We'll give you a token madam. So you are considered a walk-in." Berderau darah aku dengar. Aku masuk le dalam, tgk ramai nyer manusia. Bukan orang mengandung yang penuh duduk dekat waiting area and benches tu, tapi laki diorg, mak, mak mentua, adik dan sebagainya. Aku pelik tul tengok diorg ni. G check up hbs satu keluarga diangkutnya. Pastu bila aku datang sorang-sorang pandang aku macam nak telan. Ape tak pernah tengok independent woman ke?
Aku ni dah la penat, sarat, tak ade seekor pun manusia yang tak mengandung tu nak bangun offer aku seat diorg. Typical asian men! (Leking la especially!) Tak gentleman lansung! Aku berdiri la pandang tajam masing-masing yang buat muka hampeh tak reti nak bergerak tu. Aku tinjau la belah luar, ade tak seats. Luckily ade orang bangun, aku lepak la kat luar.
Nak tak nak aku bangun, setiap nurse tu aku tanye. Diorg kate orang lain ada appointment. Aku cakap aku tau la, tapi masalahnya situasi aku sekarang sebab korang incompetent buat keje. Bukan salah aku aku kena walk-in hr ni. Sampai ade nurse tu tanya aku, "Tired, huh?" Aku jawab, "Tired and angry!" aku tak kira.
Jam 12.15, aku dipanggil. Lega. Appointment aku bukannya lama, kejap jer, tak sampai 15 minit. Itupun diorg tak mau squeez in aku. Leking! Tapi nurse yang kat luar tu memamg rasa guilty sangat. Dia apologize banyak kali. Aku cakap takpe. Tapi aku buat komplen gak kat admin diorg pasal budak yang salah set appointment aku. Biar dia. Kalau tak nanti, aku kena lagi macam tu. Tak pun orang lain. Perut aku dah la lapar. Aku risau kan anak aku. Tapi aku dh call hubby aku amik dia dulu kat sekolah. Tapi budak kecik tu mesti monyok. Perut lapar... aku terus teringat hari ni aku buat rojak. Tak sabar nak balik makan rojak.
Aku x peduli la Kamal nak ckp ape pun, aku nak jugak bubuh gamba rojak ni! Yana punyer pasal bubuh gamba rojak dalam Yana Fotopages, aku keliur tengok rojak.

Datang hospital, dia ade pagi sampai malam. Pastu aku decide le klu aku nak masuk ubat ke ape ke. Tak mau le aku. Sakit! Dia kate to induce labour, try squating. Hmm.. bagus gak. Aku nak buat. Dukung-dukung Tini ke kan..? Untung beranak la aku minggu depan. Dah tak larat la.. dengan sakit sana-sini. Huh!
Oklah, nanti aku sambung lagi. Saje nak lepas kan geram.
Chow!

SAUNA- CARA MUDAH SEGARKAN BADAN
